“Fantastic Beasts” Gets Kravitz, Reveals Miller

A late reveal considering production is over, Zoe Kravitz (“X-Men: First Class”) has officially joined the cast of the “Harry Potter” spinoff feature “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” at Warner Bros. Pictures. Kravitz role is unknown at this time but is expected to be much larger in the sequel.

The news comes as the first photo has been revealed of Ezra Miller as the shy Credence Barebone, the adopted middle child of New Salem Philanthropic Society founder Mary-Lou Barebone (Samantha Morton). Said society seeks death to all witches and wizards, resulting in the Wizarding community keeping in hiding as they fear for their lives.

Credence’s mother is abusive when he breaks her strict rules, but that also makes him susceptible to the manipulation of an Auror named Percival Graves (Colin Farrell) who has taken a personal interest in the young man. Plenty more specifics about the character are being kept under wraps, though it sounds like he’ll be a key player.

Check out that still, along with several other new ones, below. “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” is slated to open on November 18th.
