Dakota Fanning and Ryan Donowho are set to star while Robert Duvall, Mickey Rourke and Forest Whitaker are in talks to join the indie thriller “Mississippi Wild” reports Variety.
Donowho will play a teen who has to go on the run with his girlfriend (Fanning) after stealing diamonds that belong to a local gangster (Rourke).
Whitaker would play another gangster who is chasing after Rourke’s character. Fanning will shoot the film once she wraps work on “Motel Life” this month.
Jesse Baget will write and direct while Shannon Makhanian and Ryan Johnson are producing. Shooting aims to kick off March 21st in Atlanta.
