“Men in Black: International” and “The Fate of the Furious” helmer F. Gary Gray’s production company Fenix Studios has optioned the film rights to the third-person sci-fi video game “Echo”.
In the game you play En as she arrives at a vast and mysterious ancient white palace hidden in the depths of space and still awaiting its first human occupants. As En hopes to use forgotten technologies to bring back a life that shouldn’t have been lost, she is confronted by copies of herself, called Echoes, which the palace generates. Copies that study her and use her own actions against her.
Gray will produce the feature from an adapted screenplay by “John Wick” scribe Derek Kolstad.
