“The Expanse” actress Cara Gee has joined the cast of the upcoming film adaptation of Jack London’s 1903 novel “Call of the Wild” at 20th Century Fox.
The story is set during the Klondike Gold Rush and follows prospector John Thornton (Harrison Ford) and his travels across the Canadian Yukon. The film will be shot in California, both on location and on sound stages with the dogsled racing sequences to be done digitally via Technoprops.
Dan Stevens, Karen Gillan, Omar Sy and Colin Woodell also star. Michael Green (“Logan”) penned the script, Chris Sanders directs and Erwin Stoff is producing the film which begins shooting in September and opens December 25th 2019.
