Ewan McGregor To Lead “Cow and I”

Ewan McGregor is set to re-team with his “Stay” director Marc Forster for “The Cow,” the remake of the classic French comedy “The Cow and I” for WestEnd Films.

Based on a novel by Jacques Antoine and directed by Henri Verneuil, McGregor will play an American Air Force pilot in World War II who was shot down behind enemy lines in Germany and is now a prisoner of war. He soon hatches a plan to use a cow to help him escape captivity and reach safety in France some 200 miles away.

“The Big Bang Theory” co-creator Bill Prady is penning the film which slated to begin production this Fall.
