Evans, Carlyle Team For “Dogs of Law”

Quickly rising hunk Luke Evans (“Tamara Drewe,” “Immortals”) and veteran thesp Robert Carlyle are set to team for the action thriller “Dogs of Law” reports Screen Daily.

Evans will play an undercover cop (Evans) in London who is investigating a corrupt colleague (Carlyle). The script

TV veteran Declan O’dwyer (“Being Human”) will direct from a script by Matthew Cooke and Vincent Lund. Shooting aims to kick off this Summer.

O’dwyer is also developing the film noir “Broken Cove” about two feuding families in a small coastal British village in the 50’s. Bernard Hill, Linda Bassett, Jason Flemyng, Danny Dyer and Antony Costa are attached to star.
