Ridiculed before the release, and praised as the best thing about the film after it, Evan Peters’ take on Quicksilver in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” certainly proved more memorable than Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s take on the same character in “Avengers: Age of Ultron”.
With the news not long ago that Peters will definitely be getting another chance to shine in the currently filming “X-Men: Apocalypse,” the question is will the filmmakers be able to top that Pentagon prison escape from ‘Days’? Speaking with MTV, Peters says he thinks they will:
“This year we’re working on something that’s bigger and better, keeping the same elements that worked, then adding a few new ones. I’m really excited to see it all cut together, and I’m excited for people to see it, too. I think it’s going to be a really fun sequence in what is going to be a massive X-Men movie.”
“X-Men: Apocalypse” is currently just over halfway through filming and is currently slated for a May 27th 2016 release.
