Eva Green Engulfed By “Dark Shadows”

Eva Green (“Casino Royale,” “Kingdom of Heaven”) is in talks to join the cast of Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows” for Warner Bros. Pictures reports Variety.

Based on the cult 60’s series, the spooky soap-opera featured gothic horror staples like vampires, ghosts and zombies. Johnny Depp is attached to play Barnabas Collins, the vampire patriarch of the series.

Green would portray the temptress Angelique, a role played by Lara Parker in the original. Bella Heathcote also stars a waitress who resembles Collins’ long-lost love.

Seth Grahame-Smith has penned the script while Depp, Graham King, Richard Zanuck, Christi Dembrowski and David Kennedy are producing.
