“The Knick” actor Eric Johnson is in talks to play Jack Hyde in both “Fifty Shades Darker” and “Fifty Shades Freed,” the sequels to last year’s global hit “Fifty Shades of Grey” at Universal Pictures.
In the books, Hyde is Anastasia Steele’s new boss, an assistant news editor who falls for her and begins pursuing her – something Grey very much dislikes. He appears
Kim Basinger and Bella Heathcote also star in the films in which Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini are reprising their roles.
James Foley is taking over directing reins from Sam Taylor-Johnson, while Niall Leonard and James are penning the script. Both films will be shot back-to-back ahead of February 2017 & 2018 releases.
