Eric Bana is in negotiations to star in a remake of 2004 French heist drama “Le Convoyeur” for Millennium Films reports Variety.
The studio is also in talks with F. Gary Gray (The Italian Job) to direct the drama which will be retitled “Armored.”
Written by David Ayer and Andrew Kevin Walker, the story follows a man who takes a job for an armored car company and ingratiates himself with his co-workers, who trust him enough to make him part of their heist plans.
Unbeknownst to his colleagues, the man had his own motives for taking the job. The new title will likely change again due to it being the same name as an upcoming Screen Gems drama.
