It isn’t just pre-sale ticket records that “Avengers: Endgame” is breaking it seems.
Deadline reports that the new film is far and away the biggest marketing promotional campaign ever in Marvel Studios history with the marketing spend alone said to be over an estimated $200 million.
That’s far above the value of previous global promo partner pushes – last year’s “Avengers: Infinity War” came in just above $150 million while “Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2” was a comparatively tiny $80 million.
The stats come as Marvel Studios has released both a new TV spot hailing ‘Endgame’ as the start of Summer, and a new featurette about filming with IMAX cameras.
“Avengers: Endgame” opens in cinemas on April 26th.
