“Endgame” Gets An Audi Short & Ending Praise

Endgame Gets An Audi Short Ending Praise

Marvel Studios and Disney have snagged some impressive commercial partners for the upcoming “Avengers: Endgame” including car manufacturer Audi who has released something more substantial than the usual tie-in commercial.

The company has dropped a full 2.5-minute short film, of which only about the last 40 seconds is the ad itself. The rest effectively serves as what could be a deleted scene from ‘Endgame’ in which Bree Larson’s Carol Danvers finds herself being debriefed on Earth and learns about both the Avengers and some of the changes to society since the 1990s. Even the cat Goose makes an appearance in the short which can be seen in full below.

The film arrives as one of its stars, Robert Downey Jr., tells The Upcoming in a non-spoiler way that he has a favourite bit when it comes to this movie: “The last eight minutes of [Avengers: Endgame] are maybe the best eight minutes in the entire history of the whole run of them, in a way, because everyone’s involved. I was delighted. ”

Separately directors Joe and Anthony Russo tell Rotten Tomatoes that Downey Jr. is the only cast member on the film to have seen the full script. “Avengers: Endgame” opens in cinemas on April 26th.
