Empire’s Top 100 Video Games Of All Time

Empire Magazine has unveiled its list of the one hundred greatest video games of all time. Whilst full of deserving winners, it has already generated arguments about what it missed (where’s “Gears of War 2,” “Infamous,” “LIMBO,” “God of War 3”?) and its ordering.

Even so, so many great games are here, quite a few I’m proud to call my personal favourites like “Uncharted” 2 & 3, “The Last of Us,” “Mass Effect 2,” “Super Mario 64,” the first two “Batman: Arkham” titles, “Red Dead Redemption,” “Journey,” “Bioshock” & “Bioshock Infinite,” “Tomb Raider,” both “Portal” games, “Heavy Rain,” “Dead Space,” “The Secret of Monkey Island,” “Assassin’s Creed II,” “Sonic the Hedgehog,” “GoldenEye,” “Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas,” “Duke Nukem 3D,” and “Halo: Reach”.
