Emily Blunt Joins “My Little Pony” Film

Emily Blunt will voice a new character in the animated feature “My Little Pony: The Movie” for Hasbro and Lionsgate. The film is currently slated for a November 3rd 2017.

The story centers on Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity embarking on a journey beyond Equestria, where they meet new friends and challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.

Blunt and Kristin Chenoweth are voicing new characters alongside the ‘Mane 6’ voiced by Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball. Jayson Thiessen helms from a screenplay by Meghan McCarthy, while Stephen Davis and Brian Goldner will produce.
