Eli Roth In Talks For Shark Tale “Meg”

Eli Roth is reportedly in talks to direct the long in gestation giant prehistoric shark movie “Meg” at Warner Bros. Pictures.

Based on the Steve Alten novel, the story follows two men who band together to neutralize an ancient and gigantic 20m/60ft long shark, the Carcharodon Megalodon, that’s threatening the California coast.

Dean Georgaris penned the script while Belle Avery and Colin Wilson are producing. With the success of Universal’s “Jurassic World” at the box-office, Warners is said to be high on the idea of another prehistoric monster blockbuster.
