Ejiofor Johannesson Join Fuquas Infinite

Chiwetel Ejiofor has been cast as the villain opposite Mark Wahlberg in Antoine Fuqua’s action-thriller “Infinite” for Paramount Pictures. In addition, Iceland native Johannes Haukur Johannesson (“The Good Liar”) has also joined the production.

Ian Shorr and John Lee Hancock penned the script which adapts D. Eric Maikranz’s 2009 novel “The Reincarnationist Papers” and follows a group of near-immortal men and women who are reincarnated over the centuries.

To defeat an evil mastermind (Ejiofor) who has found a way to stop the reincarnation process and plans to use it on his own kind, the group must rely on a man (Wahlberg) who suffers from schizophrenia and who will have to learn that all his vivid dreams are actually memories from past lives villain.

Dylan O’Brien and Sophie Cookson have also been cast while Mark Vahradian, John Zaozirny and Lorenzo di Bonaventura are producing. Shooting begins late September in London.
