Jesse Eisenberg, Melissa Leo and Tracy Morgan are all set to join the indie comedy “Predisposed” reports Vulture.
The story is described as a macabre look at the unhealthy relationship between a drug-addicted mother (Leo) and her college-bound son (Eisenberg), set on the day of both his interview at Julliard and her planned arrival in rehab.
Adding complications to the matter is that she has no health insurance so she can only be admitted to rehab if she shows up intoxicated. Morgan will play her drug dealer Sprinkles who has a feud with her, while another major role of a rival dealer has yet to be cast.
The project is a feature adaptation of Philip Dorling and Ron Nyswaner’s 2009 Sundance short which also starred Leo. Shooting is scheduled to start this summer.
