Having already produced a fourth season of “Arrested Development” for the streaming service, producer Brian Grazer has revealed that he and Eddie Murphy are teaming to do a film for Netflix.
Speaking with Bloomberg, Grazer said: “I’m going to do a movie with Netflix. I’m going to do a tour-de-force movie that’s cinema verite with Eddie Murphy being as raw as he can be.”
Grazer also confirmed that a fifth season of “Arrested Development” is still in the works for Netflix: “The way they [Netflix] govern their creativity is exceptional. They believe that if they like the idea and the foundational elements, you’re just off to do what you believe in, and they trust it. And it’s been working for them.”
Update: Deadline says that according to their sources the project was too premature to announce at this point in time and details aren’t even locked down yet meaning this project is in VERY early stages.
