Edward R. Pressman has optioned the film rights to the horror thriller graphic novel “Feeding Ground” says Heat Vision.

The story follows an illegal immigrant trafficker who is forced to smuggle his own family into America after his young brother runs afoul of a local gangster.

With the cartel and U.S. Border Patrol in their heels, the family is trapped in a no-man’s land known as the Devil’s Highway and discovers they are being stalked by supernatural creatures.

Martin Scorsese’s former personal assistant Alfonso Gomez-Rejon will helm the project which Carlos Coto is penning the script for.
