Ecstasy Hard To Find In Scotland

The production of a film adaptation of Irvine Welsh novel “Ecstasy” has hit trouble and may be cancelled altogether.

According to Film Stalker, the project was scheduled to begin last November and is now slated for a March start at the earliest due to the dismissal of the entire Scottish production team.

“Ecstasy” is the story about a drug dealer who abandons his past life and finds true love, this being the real ecstasy of his life, but along the way there are complications.

Billy Boyd, Will Kemp, Richard E. Grant, Erica Durance, Ford Kiernan, Greg Hemphill, Karen Dunbar and Jenni Falconer are all slated to star.
