Earlier this week the “Twilight” fansites said it was Paul Weitz, then the trades said it was Spanish director Juan Antonio Bayona, now it seems that no-one has been signed as yet to helm the third “Twilight” feature “Eclipse”.
Summit president of production Erik Feig tells The Los Angeles Times that “The ‘Eclipse’ directing job hasn’t been offered to Juan Antonio or anyone else. We’ve met with three or four talented filmmakers and we’ll be meeting with three or four more other candidates before we make any decision. No one has been offered the job.”
A few hours later, Nikki Finke at Deadline Hollywood Daily says that the LAT columnist is basically full of it and she stands by her quote “Summit Entertainment is telling Hollywood privately that Juan Antonio Bayona will direct Eclipse” which broke just before the trades the other day.
Meanwhile photos of cast members on the set of “The Twilight Saga’s New Moon” have emerged at Spoiler TV. There’s nearly a hundred shots of all the returning cast members including the buffer new Taylor Lautner, leading lady Kristen Stewart, and of course Robert ‘OMG I WANT HIS BABIES’ Pattinson.
