Electronic Arts and BioWare have dropped the launch trailer for their upcoming shared-world multiplayer sci-fi shooter game “Anthem”. Players can suit up in one of four javelins and take on a world of danger in the action-RPG which hits Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4 on February 22nd.
Players can team up with friends as Freelancers, the bold few with the courage to leave civilization behind and explore a landscape of primeval beauty – confronting the dangers you find, you’ll grow in power with every step. Up to four players band together to take on whatever perils you discover as a heroic team.
EA is bullish with confidence in the game, claiming they expect to sell around five or six million copies of the game by the end of March (essentially six weeks from launch date). Meanwhile the company’s free-to-play “Apex Legends” has proven something of a surprise hit, nabbing 2.5 million players in two days.
