EA Unveils “Star Wars: Battlefront” DLC

EA and DICE have announced new details regarding DLC for the video game “Star Wars Battlefront” with the addition of free content available to all Battlefront players from tomorrow. The new content includes:

– Tatooine Survival map will now support the Blast, Droid Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes, and is called Raider Camp.

– New Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, both of which will be available to all fans when they play as these two iconic characters on the Hoth.

– The ability to create Private Matches

– The introduction of Daily Challenges and Community Events, designed to rally the Community around certain goals and objectives, giving players the chance to earn credits and unlocks even faster.

In February, a new Survival mission will be added to Hoth along with a brand-new Hoth multiplayer map for larger game modes – including Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron and Turning Point.

In March, a new multiplayer map on Endor will be added that will support Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point, and an additional Tatooine Survival map.

There’s also updates on the first three expansion packs of the Season Pass which will include a bunch of different locations starting with “Outer Rim” in March which allows for fighting among the factories of Sullust and battle within Jabba the Hutt’s palace on Tatooine.

Then there’s “Bespin” in the summer which is set in the iconic cloud city from “The Empire Strikes Back”. Finally there’s “Death Star” in the Fall which is set onboard the superweapon from the original. A fourth expansion pack will be released in early 2017.
