E3 2017: Electronic Arts

Electronic Arts has just wrapped up their EA Play press conference, the first of five major press events taking place at this year’s E3. Check out the details of the important announcements and major new game trailers screened.

Star Wars: Battlefront II
Along with the official reveal trailer for “Star Wars Battlefront II” multiplayer, it was announced that all post-launch content for the title will be absolutely free for those who buy the main game. “Star Wars Battlefront II” will be available worldwide on November 17th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and on Origin for PC.

BioWare, having licked its wounds over “Mass Effect Andromeda,” has premiered the first trailer for a new IP they’re working on. “Anthem” is set on an exotic primeval world and you must confront the dangers coming.

A Way Out
A co-op only game, “A Way Out” sees you play the role of one of two prisoners in a daring escape over and beyond the prison walls. What begins as a thrilling escape quickly turns into an emotional adventure.

Need for Speed Payback
In “Need for Speed Payback,” the single player campaign story sees a trio of characters (Tyler, Jess and Mac) transporting a car equipped with a new piece of technology that may be a key component in bringing down the evil The House.

Battlefield 1 – In the Name of the Tsar
A first look at the DLC pack for “Battlefield 1,” this one dubbed ‘In the Name of the Tsar’ which explores the war’s biggest front with the Russian army. The DLC hits September.

Madden, FIFA & NBA 18
Powered by Frostbite, ‘Madden 18: Longshot’ boasts Madden NFL’s first-ever cinematic and playable story mode where your decisions lead forgotten prospect, Devin Wade, on the pursuit to hear his name called on NFL Draft day.

Also out are trailers for this year’s iterations of FIFA and NBA Live.
