Dylan O’Brien Is “Maze Runner” Lead

Sterek shippers can get excited.

The two Tylers and the now departed Colton Haynes may have gotten the beefcake attention, but the real scene stealer of MTV’s “Teen Wolf” series is Dylan O’Brien as the lead character’s cocky best friend Stiles.

Now, O’Brien is now set to bring his talents to the big screen as he has scored the lead role of Thomas in the latest young adult novel series adaptation “The Maze Runner” at 20th Century Fox.

Thomas is one of a group of teens who wake up in a giant maze with no memory of how they got there. He then searches for answers and a way out.

Will Poulter, Kaya Scodelario, Aml Ameen, and Thomas Brodie-Sangster also star. James Dashner penned the book series which Noah Oppenheim, Grant Myers and T.S. Nowlin worked on the script for.

Wes Ball directs the project which begins shooting in May in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
