Dwayne Johnson Gives “San Andreas” Details

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson never seems to slow down. He’s slated to finish his filming commitments on “Fast and Furious 7” in the first half of the year, and now he’s spoken about his next project after that – New Line’s “San Andreas 3D”.

He confirms that filming on the project is slated to begin in April in Brisbane, Australia. Johnson calls it “the first ever big 3D earthquake disaster film.”

He also says: “I’m cautiously excited to start shooting ‘Not Without Hope’. To tell this story and become this man is truly an honor.”

That project he’s referring to is Relativity’s film based on Nick Schuyler’s book about a 2009 fishing trip to the Gulf of Mexico that turned disastrous when their boat capsized.
