Warner Bros. Pictures has picked up the film rights to Matt Kindt’s graphic novel “3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man” says The Hollywood Reporter.
“Milk” scribe Dustin Lance Black will pen and direct the adaptation described as a modern fable about the life of Craig Pressgang, a man with a strange medical condition that causes him to continuously grow.
The story is explored through the eyes of his mother, wife and daughter and starts from his birth to his eventual three-story height.
Black’s take focuses on the father-daughter relationship and softens the downbeat and melancholic ending. Mike Richardson produces.
