Duplass, Collins, Bobb Join “Manifesto” Series

Mark Duplass (“Blue Jay”), Jeremy Bobb (“The Knick”), Lynn Collins (“X-Men Origins: Wolverine”), Katja Herbers (“The Leftovers”), and Brian F. O’Byrne (“Aquarius”) have been cast in the upcoming scripted series “Manifesto” airing later this year on Discovery Channel.

Sam Worthington stars as FBI agent Jim ‘Fitz’ Fitzgerald who deploys a radical approach to intelligence gathering to take down Ted Kaczynski (Paul Bettany), a terrorist better known as the Unabomber.

Duplass is Ted’s younger brother while Herbers plays Ted’s wife. Collins is a linguistics post-doc from Stanford, Bobb is a seasoned and foul-mouthed FBI agent, and O’Byrne is the head of the FBI’s profiler department.

They all join Jane Lynch as former U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno, Chris Noth as Unabomber Task Force supervisor Don Ackerman, and Keisha Castle-Hughes as a street agent who partners with Worthington’s character.

John Goldwyn produces while Greg Yaitanes directs and serves as showrunner on the series. Production starts in Atlanta on January 30th.
