Kirsten Dunst, Adam Scott (“Step Brothers”), Lizzy Caplan (“Party Down”) and Casey Wilson (“Happy Endings”) are all attached to star in the indie comedy “Bachelorette” for Gary Sanchez Productions says The Hollywood Reporter
The story follows three best friends (Caplan, Dunst, and a still to be cast role) who are invited to act as bridesmaids at the wedding of a girl (Wilson) they called “Pigface” in high school.
Scott will play Caplan’s high school crush who shows up at the wedding with a beautiful and much younger date.
Leslye Headland wrote the script based on an off-Broadway hit that played last Summer. The title is only a working one and is likely to change.
“Terriers” writer Leslye Headland will make her feature directorial debut on the $3 million project which Will Ferrell and Adam McKay will produce. Shooting kicks off this Summer in New York City.
