Downton’s Findlay Falls For “Frankenstein”

Jessica Brown Findlay (“Downton Abbey”) has scored the female lead role in “Frankenstein” at 20th Century Fox.

Paul McGuigan (“Sherlock”) helms this new take on the Mary Shelley horror classic, this one told from the perspective of hunchbacked assistant Igor (Daniel Radcliffe) who works for Dr. Victor Frankenstein (James McAvoy).

Findlay will play a trapeze artist saved from an accident by Igor. The pair become close in the aftermath.

Max Landis (Chronicle) scripted the new take which begins filming this Fall in London and Scotland. John Davis is producing.
