Robert Downey Jr. will star in and produce a new untitled musical for Warner Bros. Pictures says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story centres on two Broadway singer-songwriters who suddenly find themselves creatively and financially bankrupt after their latest big time musical bombs.
The pair take a job as counselors at a theater camp where they decide to launch their comeback with the help of the kids in attendance.
Award-winning “Next to Normal” composing team of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey will produce alongside Downey Jr. and his wife Susan Downey. Kitt and Yorkey have tailored the part for the actor.
