Marvel Studios is famous for signing on its actors for multi-picture deals. Most often it’s six, though that number can go up and down depending upon the actor.
In a surprising admission though, actor Michael Douglas has revealed to Yahoo that he hasn’t signed on for any more appearances as Hank Pym in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as yet:
“I’m not signed up to anything more. I’ve learned a whole lot and would look forward to more if it comes my way but if not I’ve enjoyed the experience.”
Douglas adds that if Pym does return, he would like to get a bit more humor elements to work with:
“Paul and Adam (McKay’s) re-write bought a lot more humour. I accused Paul of bringing a lot more humour to his character! Michael Pena can take care of himself. I on the other hand was left giving the exposition and the plot, which I was happy to do. In the next one I hope things get a little more bizarre.
Speaking of “Ant-Man,” Marvel.com has released an official photo of the costume for The Wasp seen in the film’s end credits.
