Douglas Controls A “Perfect Assassin”

Andrew Douglas (“The Amityville Horror”) is set to direct the $14.6 million thriller “The Perfect Assassin” for Rodar y Rodar, Company Pictures and his own Andrew Douglas Films says Variety.

Set in the final months of Spain’s 1936-39 civil war, the English-language film turns on two hit squads out to kill a politician. Paul Webb (“Lincoln”) is adapting the script from Tariq Goddard’s novel “Homage to a Firing Squad.”

Casting will take place in the UK and Spain shortly for a shoot next Spring and Summer in Spain.
