“Dope” and “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising” actress Kiersey Clemons has reportedly emerged as the top choice for the female lead opposite Ezra Miller in the Rick Famuyiwa-directed “The Flash” film at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Details are unclear as to whom she might play, though most likely it’s Iris West – the journalist and potential love interest of Miller’s Barry Allen. Lucy Boynton (“Sing Street”) and Rita Ora (“50 Shades of Grey”) are also said to be in contention according to Borys Kit.
Miller first appeared in the role in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Production on “The Flash” is slated to kick off some time this year from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith based on a treatment by Chris Miller and Phil Lord.
Candice Patton plays the role of Iris West opposite Grant Gustin’s The Flash on The CW’s TV series about the character.
