Donald Sutherland Shares “Milton’s Secret”

Donald Sutherland (“The Hunger Games”) has joined Barnet Bain’s upcoming $5 million film adaptation of Eckhart Tolle and Robert Friedman’s children’s novel “Milton’s Secret”.

“The Hunger Games” villain will play the grandfather of the story’s central character, Milton, a young boy who is dealing with being bullied in school and discovers that his obsession with preteen fears prevent him from finding true happiness.

Sutherland replaces Peter Fonda, who was previously attached, and filming begins this fall in southern Ontario. Bain, Donald Martin and Sandra Cooper penned the script.
