Dominic Cooper Returns For “Agent Carter”

Though Dominic Cooper is committed to AMC’s “Preacher” for the foreseeable future, it looks like the busy actor could still return to ABC’s “Marvel’s Agent Carter” for the show’s upcoming second season.

Cooper reprised his role of Howard Stark from “Captain America: The First Avenger” in the first season of “Agent Carter” and today the show’s star Hayley Attwell tells Den of Geek that Cooper will be back. How many episodes he will be involved in is unclear.

Atwell also spoke about the second season’s L.A. setting: “I’ve not started work on [season 2] yet, but it’s been written. I do know that, one thing they have decided, is that it’s going to be set a year later. So it’s 1947, it’s going to be set in L.A., and I keep on thinking about L.A. Confidential, that kind of film noir, which would be great.”

In related news, ABC has unveiled a Comic Con poster (via TV Insider) for the third season of “Marvel’s Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.”. Both shows will be getting panels at the event this weekend in San Diego.
