Dollhouse, Scrubs, Bones Renewed

Though the final Fall TV primetime lineup isn’t announced til this week, the fate of several shows has been revealed in the last few days.

Most notably Joss Whedon’s troubled “Dollhouse” over at FOX has been renewed for a 13-episode second season and is likely to continue airing on Friday night.

In other FOX news, it seems the American remake of beloved 90’s British sitcom “Absolutely Fabulous” did not make the final cut and won’t be picked up as a series.

The network has also renewed its highly successful forensic murder-solving series “Bones” for two further years.

ABC has renewed long-running comedy “Scrubs” and their new Nathan Fillion series “Castle”. Its new shows this Fall will include the TV version of “The Witches of Eastwick” and the limited series “V” based on the classic 80’s mini-series.
