The Marvel Studios Comic Con panel is now underway in San Diego and the event is doing what was widely expected it would do – it unveiled the official ‘Phase 4’ line-up of films.
Third on the list was “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” which sees the first film’s director Scott Derrickson returning and promises will deliver what he dubs “the first scary MCU film” with elements of Gothic horror.
Benedict Cumberbatch reprises his role while Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch is also in it as the events from the upcoming “WandaVision” TV series to air beforehand in Spring 2021 will directly tie into it. Kevin Feige is producing.
“Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” will premiere May 7th 2021.
