Disney Pictures has shown off some of the designs of the new characters in the upcoming “The Incredibles” sequel from Pixar.
Along with the returning Parr family, new characters include Jonathan Banks as Rick Dicker which runs the Super Relocation Program (keeping superhero identities secret), Sophia Bush will play a girl named Voyd who has the power to create voids, and Isabella Rossellini voices Ambassador who advocates for superheroes to be legalized.
They join Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener who play siblings who run a telecommunications company who would like to help bring superheroes out of hiding and back into the public eye by revamping public perception of them.
They join Mr. Incredible (Craig T. Nelson) and Elastigirl (Holly Hunter) and their children, Violet (Sarah Vowell), Dashiell (Huck Milner) and baby Jack Jack along with Samuel L. Jackson as Mr. Incredible’s oldest friend Frozone. Brad Bird will reprise his role as Edna ‘E’ Mode, who creates super suits for the world’s heroes.
“Incredibles 2” is set for a June 15th release.
