In the wake of its pushing back J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode IX” by seven months today, Disney Pictures has now shaken up some of its release slate with a few key date changes.
The summer camp for aspiring magicians tale “Magic Camp,” starring Adam Devine and Jeffrey Tambor, has locked down an April 6th 2018 release.
The Marc Forster-directed untitled Christopher Robin project, with Ewan McGregor and Hayley Atwell, has secured an August 3rd 2018 release.
As already reported, Guy Ritchie’s “Aladdin” will take over the May 24th 2019 release slot that was taken by ‘Episode IX,’ the latter now opening December 20th 2019.
Then there’s “Artemis Fowl,” the long in the works adaptation which Kenneth Branagh will direct and is now set for an August 9th 2019 release.
Finally the Anna Kendrick and Bill Hader-led story “Nicole,” which follows Santa Claus’ daughter who is bring groomed to take over his duties, has secured a November 8th 2019 release.
