“Raising Hope” and “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” star Garret Dillahunt has popped up in numerous films in recent years from “The Road” and “No Country for Old Men” to “Winter’s Bone” and “The Last House on the Left”. Now he’s scored two more gigs – “Cogan’s Trade” and “Looper”.
According to Onion AV Club, via The Playlist, Dillahunt will re-team with his “The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford” director Andrew Dominik on “Cogan’s Trade”. Dillahunt says his role in the film is only a cameo, but it allows the actor to work with an impressive cast that currently includes the likes of Brad Pitt, Ray Liotta, James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins and Ben Mendelsohn.
“Cogan’s Trade” is shooting in New Orleans and Dillahunt was able to do the role because he was also in Louisiana shooting Rian Johnson’s “Looper” in Thibodaux. The actor has been filming for a week in a role that’s said to be a villain who pops up in the third act of the picture. Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis and Emily Blunt star in the film which hits cinemas in 2012.
