Garret Dillahunt (“Deadwood”), Tom Felton (“Harry Potter”), and Jake Abel (“The Host”) are all set to star in the WWII true story “Ghosts of the Pacific” for The American Film Company.
The story recounts the incredible journey of pilot Harold Dixon (Dillahunt), bombardier Tony Pastula (Felton), and radioman Gene Aldrich (Abel) – virtual strangers assigned to an aerial scouting mission on January 16th 1942.
When they are forced to ditch their plane, the men are left with no food, water, or supplies; only a 4×8-foot yellow life raft to keep them afloat in the South Pacific.
Mark David Keegan and Brian Falk are penning the script while Falk and Mark Moran will produce. Falk will also make his directorial debut on the project.
Shooting kicks off next week at Baja Studios in Rosarito, Mexico.
