Lorenzo di Bonaventura (“Transformers,” “G.I. Joe”) will produce a live action adaptation of the comic “Lions, Tigers and Bears” for Paramount Pictures says the trades.
The fantasy tale centers on a young boy whose stuffed animals come to life in middle of the night to protect him from a group of monsters called the Beasties and the further adventures of the boy as he travels through the stuffed-animal kingdom.
The story would be live action but would call for heavy visual effects. Joey Aucoin (“Unicorn”) is penning from his own pitch.
