C.S. Lee, who memorably portrayed the sex-obsessed lab tech Masuka on Showtime’s “Dexter,” has joined the cast of the second season of HBO’s “True Detective”.
Lee will recur as Richard Geldof, a state attorney general with grand political ambitions. Unlike his often inappropriate “Dexter” character, this one is smooth, well-spoken, polished and utterly lacking in morals.
The eight-episode season is currently in production in California and follows three police officers and a career criminal who must navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder.
Colin Farrell, Rachel McAdams, Taylor Kitsch, Vince Vaughn, Kelly Reilly and Jon Lindstrom also star.
