Unsurprisingly, Bungie’s sequel to its mega-budget sci-fi video game “Destiny” will NOT be launching this September as previously expected.
Bungie previously laid out a ten year development roadmap with bi-annual game releases, alternated with massive DLC expansions such as last year’s ‘The Taken King’. The sequel is not officially confirmed, but is known to be on the way.
Now, Kotaku reports the game will not make its September launch date and a new date has yet to be set. They add that “plans for the game’s future are constantly shifting”
The news comes as the community surrounding the game has grown restless and concerned that meaningful content may no longer be coming until the sequel arrives – whenever that may be.
