Delay Of Ledger’s “Order” Explained

Whilst we know Fox has pulled the Heath Ledger religious drama from its January slot, its never really been explained why till now – and the reasoning may not be what you suspect.

Variety reports that the cause seems to be that the film’s special effects which will have to undergo a major retuning as the current ones by London-based Mill Film are “unintentionally funny”.

As a result, Santa Monica-based company Asylum have taken over and are redoing the shots which depict “sins flying out of the human body” – visuals which are supposed to be creepy but currently look something “like calamari”.

At present, a late-summer release date seems to be on the cards.
