“Death Wish” Gets A Grindhouse Trailer

MGM and director Eli Roth’s CryptTV have released a new ‘grindhouse’-style red band trailer for the upcoming “Death Wish” remake. An ode to the 1970s era of both grindhouse movies and the original Charles Bronson film, the clip gives the modern exploitation film a retro vibe.

Corey Burton narrates the clip for the film in which Bruce Willis plays Dr. Paul Kersey, a surgeon who only sees the aftermath of his city’s violence as it’s rushed into his ER until his wife (Elisabeth Shue) and college-age daughter (Camila Morrone) are viciously attacked in their suburban home.

With the police overloaded with crimes, Paul, burning for revenge, hunts for his family’s assailants to deliver justice. Vincent D’Onofrio, Mike Epps, Jack Kesy, Dean Norris, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Beau Knapp, Kimberly Elise and Ronnie Gene Blevins co-star in the film which opens March 2nd.
