Hideo Kojima’s highly anticipated game “Death Stranding” received a new gameplay trailer and a release date today with the title set to arrive as a PlayStation 4 exclusive on November 8th. Details on pre-orders are also out at the PlayStation Store with in-game items that unlock as the story progresses.
In the game, Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the stranded remnants of the future in his hands, Sam embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world one step at a time.
The game stars the voices and likenesses of Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Margaret Qualley, Lea Seydoux, Lindsay Wagner, Troy Baker, Tommie Earl Jenkins and special appearances by Nicolas Winding Refn and Guillermo del Toro.
Separately, Kotaku’s Jason Schreier tweeted out that with this announced release it looks like “The Last of Us Part II” will be pushed from a proposed Fall 2019 release to an early 2020 one – possibly February.
