Anticipation is high for the Ryan Reynolds-led “Deadpool” film which opens around much of the world next week. The Marvel comics adaptation is already famous for, and selling itself on, its raunchy R-rated humor – strong enough that it has been banned in China.
Even so, we’ve previously heard that to even score the current R rating it has they had to trim down or cut out some of the darkest excesses that they filmed. Popping up at a fan event in London, ScreenCrush reports that co-star T.J. Miller revealed that an even dirtier and director’s cut will be coming later this year.
Miller says: “So the idea that when you see the fall director’s cut of it, that that’s going to be even more raw, that’s pretty heavy duty.” When said raunchier cut will hit is unclear, most likely with the home video release.
Promotional efforts for the film continue, with a great new clip from the film along with the latest PSA involving the Merc with the Mouth helping spreading awareness for breast cancer and how women should self-examine.
