Despite the Disney-Fox deal leaving future “X-Men” projects in something of a state of limbo right now, “Deadpool” director Tim Miller is reportedly currently at work on a film based on the “X-Men” character Kitty Pride.
Collider broke the story, but there’s no real further detail beyond that including no mention of writers or producers attached. Ellen Page previously played the character in both “X-Men: The Last Stand” and “X-Men: Days Of Future Past,” albeit only a supporting role.
The new film would put the character front and center, a young female mutant with the ability to phase through objects – and thus can ‘walk through walls’. She’s also the youngest full-fledged X-Men member.
